Lake Tahoe Guide to Skiing and Snowboarding

Snowboarding in Lake TahoeThere are lots of different resorts to choose from when visiting Lake Tahoe. They each have a little different flavor. Most resorts average 125" of snow each year at their base with the season running from Thanksgiving through April. Because of the number of resorts in the area lift lines are relatively short even on the weekends so you'll spend your time on the slopes. Most Lake Tahoe Ski resorts offer ski and snowboard lessons for beginners and more advanced riders as well. It is a really fun way to get to know the sport or to get to know a new mountain.
